Week Eleven: And Down to the Wire....

This week marks the beginning of the end....There are a number of different areas on the horse that all need to be finished, so there is still a lot of work left to do....

Here is the beginning of the collage that will be applied to the blanket. I start by laying out the most colorful pieces first, followed then by the largest or most eye-catching images. It will be important to have a good visual balance across the length and the two sides of the horse....and to avoid placing similar items too close to one another.

At the same time that I am collaging....I am working on adding some necessary "finishing touches".... such as creating the texture of the hair on the horse's tail.

And now that I have put some of the Saratoga into "Ghosts of Saratoga".....

.....it is time to add the Ghosts
